Microwave Recipe: Indian Curry- Palak Paneer
The combination of Palak (Spinach) and Paneer (cheese) makes a delicious curry. Palak is a seasonal item and easily available. The combination of palak and paneer makes it healthier and tastier curry. Here is the recipe to prepare in microwave:

- Paneer (cheese) 250 gm cut into cubes
- Palak (Spinach) 700 gm
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Cumin seed(jeera) 1 tsp
- Garlic 5 flakes
- Ginger 1/2 " piece
- Onions 2 nos. chopped
- Green chilli 1 chopped
- Coriander (Dhania) powder 2 tsp
- Garam Masala 1/2 tsp
- Tomatoes 2 nos. chopped
- Fenugreek leaves (kasoori methi) 2 tbsp
- Butter 1 tbsp
- Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
- Sugar 1/4 tsp
- Milk 1/4 cup
- Salt - to taste
- Take deep microwave safe bowl and put oil, onions, ginger, garlic, cumins seeds, green chillies, dhania powder and garam masala. Mix all and microwave it for 5 minutes.
- Add kasoori methi and chopped tomatoes and mix it well. Then add washed spinach leaves and microwave it for 8 minutes.
- When cool add 1/2 cup water and blend it well.
- Now put this puree in the same microwave safe dish and add cheese, butter, salt, chilli powder, milk, sugar and 1/4 cup water.
- Mix well and microwave for 5 minutes.
- Now the delicious curry is ready to serve. Serve hot with roti's or parathaas.
