MTNL and Aksh bringing IPTV without broadband
Cable, FRP rods and Optical fibre maker Aksh Optifiber has announced to launch of India's first Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) without any broadband in association with MTNL. Aksh under the brand name 'icontrol' will start its service in Mumbai and Delhi i.e. where MTNL has strong presence. The ' i ' in company's brand name 'icontrol' is a symbol of interactivity which is a key feature of Internet Protocol Television. The viewers can view and manage their content according to their choice. The company will provide its subscribers more than 100 channels including Star and Sony channels as well as sports channels of Neo and Ten Sports. In 'Time Shift Feature' the viewers will also have the facility to view last 7 days programme telecast at their convenience.
