Microwave Recipes: Vegetable Chowmein
A very popular Chinese Recipe: Vegetable Chowmein
Ingredients: For boiling Noddles you will need -
1 cup Noodles
4 cups Water
2 tsp Oil
1 tsp Salt
Ingredients for frying:
2 Capsicums
2 Carrots (shredded)
2 Spring Onions (shredded)
5-6 Beans (shredded)
100 gm Cabbage (shredded)
2-3 Dry red chillies (flaked)
5-6 Baby Corns (sliced)
5-6 Garlic flakes (crushed)
2 tbsp Tomato sauce
2 tsp Oil
1 tbsp Vinegar
a pinch of ajinomoto
salt and pepper (to taste)
Method to prepare in Microwave:

2 tsp Oil
1 tbsp Vinegar
a pinch of ajinomoto
salt and pepper (to taste)
Method to prepare in Microwave:
- Take a big microwave safe bowl, add water , oil and salt and boil for 7-8 minutes at 100% micro wave power.
- Add noodles and boil for 6-7 minutes at 100% power. Stir in between.
- Strain and wash noodles under cold water to avoid sticking. Keep aside.
- Take another Microwave safe bowl, add oil and all chopped vegetables and microwave for 4-5 minutes at 100% microwave power.
- Add soya sauce, tomato chilli sauce, vinegar and ajinomoto and stir it properly.
- Add boiled noodles to it and mix it well. Microwave it for 2 minutes at 80% power.
- Serve hot with sauce and soup.
