What is PAN and How to get a PAN card?

PAN is a short name of Permanent Account Number. PAN number is a ten digit alphanumeric number assigned by Income Tax Department. UTI Investor Services Ltd. (UTIISL) has been authorized as IT PAN service centres and National Securities Depositories Limited (NSDL) has been authorized to dispense PAN services through TIN Facilitation centres. Income Tax authority has made it mandatory to quote PAN number on return on Income. PAN number is also used in correspondence with Income Tax Department. Microwave Recipe: Corn Minestrone: A tasty Mexican tomato soup

Corn Minestrone: A tasty Mexican tomato soup with vegetables Ingredients : ½ cup corn kernels 2 mushrooms – finely sliced ¼ cup finely chopped carrots 1 tbsp finely chopped French beans ¼ cup finely chopped potatoes 2 large tomatoes 1 tbsp butter 2 tbsp chopped onions 5 cups water mixed with a seasoning cube Salt and pepper to taste Method: For blenching tomatoes put a cross on the stem end of each tomato. Place it on a microwave proof plate. Microwave it for 2 minutes. Chop them finely after peeling the skin. Take butter in a big deep microwave proof bowl and microwave it for 30 seconds. Add onions and microwave for 2 minutes. Add corn, mushrooms, carrots, French beans and potatoes.  Mix well with a vegetarian seasoning cube. Microwave covered for 8 minutes. Stir once in between. Water wastage through RO Water purifier

Big cities in India are having acute shortage of drinking water, and people in big cities are using equipments which waste water. What is DMAT account?

DMAT account is a short name of dematerialized account in which all shares which were earlier in paper or physical form are now electronically converted and kept in this account.   Today all the stocks are bought and sold in electronic format and is transferred to new buyer DMAT account within the system. When a buyer buy any stock then the seller transfer the stock electronically in buyer's account.   This dmat system makes the transfer much easier and faster then physical transfer. It also reduces the risk of damage and theft which was more in physical format system.   It is mandatory to provide PAN number and bank account number for opening a DMAT account. It simply works as a Bank account where for payment you issue cheque, here also when you have to give shares, stocks etc you give a transaction slip and the stocks are transferred to beneficiary account.
