In India it is known as Youth Hostel Association of India, having its head office in Chanakyapuri Delhi. In India membership is as follows:
Juniors Annual: Rs. 50/- (Below 18 years)
Seniors Annual: Rs. 100/- (18 years & above)
Seniors (For two years): Rs. 200/-
Life: Rs. 1550/-
