Hi bloggers, there is a latest news! You might be know or may be not, but let me tell you. Now all the users of Blogspot can schedule their post. Yes! If you want your post to show up or publish on a particular date, you can do that with the new feature introduced by Google's Blogspot. If you set a post’s date into the future, Blogger will wait to publish until that time comes. This feature is very helpful when you want to announce something on a certain date but knew that you would not be able to be at computer to write your post, or you want to be regular on your posts and going for a long vacation then you can write your post and and schedule your posts through post option. Life Insurance Corporation deciding to focus on traditional plans than ULIP

As per reports, the No.1 Life insurer in India, Life Insurance Corporation, has decided to lower its focus on ULIP plans and wants to focus on traditional plans. The dicision is to bring down ULIP's from 82% to 70%, the reason behind is volatility in stock market in the last 3-4 months. LIC is India's No.1 Life Insurance company having 57% market share and it has seen a remarkable downfall in premium income. LIC is planning to launch 4-5 new plans both ULIP's and conventional plans in this financial year. LIC's total premium income in the year 2007-2008 was 59182.2 crores at the growth rate of 5.8% only. The company also has plans to launch two unit link gratuity plans, and few standalone health insurance plan. However buyers of unit linked health plan will not get benefit of tax rebate under section 80D of income tax act on the total premium amount. The company had already launched one health insurance plan in February this year.

Microwave Recipe: Dry Chicken Chilli - A non vegetarian dish Ingredients: Chicken - 350gm cut into pieces, Ginger- 1/2" piece finely chopped, Onion - 1/2 cut into pieces, Garlic - 2-3 flakes finely chopped, Green Chillies - 4-5, split lengthways, Ajinimoto - 1/2 tsp, Capsicum - 1 pc. cut into strips Vinegar - 1 tbsp, White wine - 2 tsp ( Optional), Cornflour - 1-1/2 tbsp, mixed with 1/2 cup water, Sugar - 1 tsp, Salt - 1 tsp Soya sauce - 2 tbsp, Method: Take a microwave safe dish, Add 3 tbsp oil, onion, ginger, garlic, soya sauce, ajinomoto,and chicken pieces. Mix. Microwave covered for 5 minutes. Now add all the remaining ingredients and mix it well. Microwave uncovered for 3 minutes. Mix when done and serve hot. Enjoy....

Japanese lingerie maker Triumph International has launched an environment friendly "Solar power bra" which will help to charge mobile phone or ipod through the electricity generated by it. The bra features a solar panel worn around he stomach which requires light to generate electricity. But this bra will not be in stores soon because people cannot go around wearing clothes over it. Hope a better version could be in stores soon....

Inflation is eating your bank FD's money

Inflation is eating your money which you have invested in form of FD's in banks. Yes its true! If you are thinking that your hard earned money invested in Bank FD's is giving you returns of 8-8.75% then think again. The inflation rate is 7.61 % is eroding your interest earning. And at if you will calculate you will find that may be it is giving negative returns. At present most of the banks in India are giving 8 to 8.75 % interest on Fixed deposit on more than one year period, not more than that. After accounting inflation and tax on interest ( Interest earning is taxable under section 80 C of Income Tax Act) earned, Your money is still the same without growth. If your annual income is below 2.5 lakh and at the tax rate of 10.3 % your effective earnings on Fixed deposit would be in between 7.62% and 7.85 %. Dish TV may offer Free set top box soon

As per recent news, Dish TV (Direct to Home service provider), a Zee group company has said that it will provide free set top boxes to its subscribers. This move of Dish TV is probably to capture more subscriber base as competition will be tough with new brands like Reliance, Bharti and Videocon is also entering in this business. The Dish TV is currently adding 90,000 new subscribers every month in its current subscriber base of 31 lakh. Company is now planning to double its monthly subscription by launching new offer of free set top box. The company says that they would not bear the cost of free set top box as its cost would be covered by increase in the number of subscriber base. The subscriber can get free set top box on payment of Rs. 4000 for one year. Subscribers can also enjoy other offers offered by the company. Microwave Recipe: Paneer (Cheese) Makhani

Microwave Recipe: Paneer (Cheese) Makhani: A delicious Indian vegetarian curry. Indredients: Paneer (Cheese) cubes - 300 gm Large tomatoes - 500 gm chopped Butter( Makhan)/Ghee - 2 tbsp Oil - 2 tbsp illaichi (Green Cardamoms seeds) - 2 nos. Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp Tomato Ketchup - 1 tsp Sugar - 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp Milk - 1 cup Kasoori methi (Fenugreek leaves) - 2 tsp Cashewnuts - 4 tbsp soaked in water and ground to a paste Cream - 4 tbsp Salt to taste Method: Take a deep microwave safe dish, Put tomatoes and ginger with 1/2 cup water and microwave for 5 minutes. Blend tomato and ginger in a mixer and make puree. Microwave butter/ ghee and oil for 2 minutes and add cardamom powder. Mix it. Add sugar, salt, chilli powder, and garam masala and mix well. Mix tomato ketchup and puree and microwave for 8 minutes. Stir once in between. Add cashewnuts paste and fenugreek leaves with 1/2 cup water and mix it well. Microwave for 3 minutes. Mix cheese (Paneer) cubes. Add milk
