Microwave Recipe: Sweet & Sour Sauce

1 can pineapple chunks with liquid
1 1/2 tsp cornflour
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp soya sauce
1/2 green pepper (finely chopped)


1. Separate the pineapple chunks and juice from the can. Collect the juice in a mall microwave safe bowl.

2. Add cornflour, brown sugar, vinegar and soya sauce to it. Mix it and microwave on 80% power for 3-4 min. Stir in between.

3. Add chopped green pepper and pineapple chunks and again microwave at 80% power for another 3-4 min. Stir in between.

4. Can be served over cutlets, fish finger or any other snacks.
